1. Application and Registration:

• Prerequisites: Have earned a minimum of 100 credits in Level I and have a teaching and/or public speaking background.
• Signed application form submitted with:
  - letter of intent stating reason(s) for becoming a Teacher of Foot Reflexology - curriculum vitae or resume showing relevant experience
  - non-refundable deposit of $250.00 Cdn. (applied toward course fee of $1,450.00 Cdn.)

2. Acceptance and Assignments:

• If accepted into the program, the student teacher will be notified in writing.
• Payment in full of remaining course fee of $1,200.00 Cdn. with signed acknowledgment of Refund Policy.
• N101 textbook and Teacher’s manual will be shipped to the student teacher.

Module 1 - Development and Submission of Lesson Plans:

• Develop and submit lesson plans for teaching the following courses:
  - N101 Foot Reflexology Course - 17-hour classes (2) in the following formats for each module:
  - 2 @ 7-hour days
  - 6 @ 3-hour evenings
  - provisions for homework assignments, mid-term practical assessments and examinations.
• Develop teaching aids based upon the above lesson plans.
• Submit a list of proposed teaching aids complete with photographs, samples or videotapes.
• This module is worth 25% of the final mark.

Module 2 - Videotaped Presentations:

• Video-taped presentation by the student teacher on Chapter 2 - Zones of the Body (10 to 15 mins).
• Video-taped presentation by the student teacher teaching the Reflexology Foot Procedure on the entire right foot only (30 to 45 mins).
• This module is worth 25% of the final mark.

Module 3 - Presentation and Workshop:

• Presentation of assigned chapter.
• Presentation of assigned part of the Reflexology Foot Procedure.
• Review of Administrative Procedures including Teacher’s contracts.
• This module is worth 50% of the final mark.

Final Grading:

• Final grades issued. Over-all average of 80% or better required to graduate.
• If successful, a Teacher’s Certificate will be issued along with a Teacher’s Probationary Contract.

Probationary Period:

• Review of teacher’s performance throughout the probationary period (two years).
• If successful, the Teacher’s status will be upgraded to Permanent Level.
